Rescue Balm

While many users see results in a week, we recommend 6 weeks as the realistic time frame to see real results from a repaired barrier function.

Consistency and patience are key to a lasting result with skincare. It takes a minimum of 28 days for your skin cells to fully turnover so it's important to be persistent and use your Balm at least twice daily. We promise its worth it!

Our Rescue Balm is comprised almost entirely of botanical oils and butters whereas our Rescue Cream is a traditional water based moisturiser. While they share similar ingredients and the same level of actives, they are two very different products with the Balm offering a significantly higher level of hydration and protection. 

For moderate to severe cases, we always recommend starting with the Balm with the option to transition to the Cream to maintain your result. Less severe cases can go straight to the Cream if its their preferred texture.

While both products are safe for all skin, our Repair Balm has been formulated especially for facial skin using ancient oils that have centuries of use for their anti-ageing properties.

Our Rescue Balm, Rescue Cream and Skin Calming Tonic can all be used from 6 weeks of age.

While our Rescue Balm has not been contraindicated for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, we'd recommend referring to the ingredient list to best enable you to choose what's best for your situation.

Care should always be taken to avoid ingestion by baby while breastfeeding.

Our skin food first formulation process means that we prioritize results and the quality of our ingredients over visual presentation, leaving out the pore-clogging waxes, stabilizers, and fillers traditionally included in other balms to keep a product aesthetically consistent while offering no benefit to your skin. Instead, we focus on packing IN the best clinically proven, raw natural ingredients that are at the heart of why our products consistentlty outperform the competition.

The concentrated waterless formula is designed to melt into your skin on touch, transforming into a deeply moisturizing, skin calming fluid oil that's best able to love your sensitive skin. 

Your Balm should be kept cool and away from sunlight and heat sources or it will melt. If allowed to melt, some separation may occur and this can lead to a grainy texture. This in no way harms the product or its efficacy. It can be used as is by melting in your palm or you can gently heat it in a water bath until the oils are fully melted, stir and move to a refrigerator to reset.
