Massage the shampoo cream onto your wet scalp, leaving on for 1 -3 minutes before adding water to release foam and gently working through to the ends. For best results, use weekly and up to 3 times per week for severe scalp conditions.
The product is naturally low foaming as we do not add foaming agents (these are considered 'feel enhancers' and do not aide cleansing or your hair). Do not be tempted to use more product, the cleansers will do their job!
Rinse thoroughly and follow up with our Protect & Repair Keratin Conditioner.

Definitely an improvement in my scalp after about 5-6 uses. A lot less flaking and scalp greasiness. Still a bit itchy, but my scalp has been itchy for so long I think it will take a while to really settle and heal. The shampoo smells lovely, too.
At 71, I suppose most people notice thinning hair. I have tried 3 of your products now, the Rescue Balm, Rescue Cream and the shampoo. The shampoo takes getting used to, very little lather, so now I shampoo first with regular shampoo and then use the Thunderbird shampoo, use far less and it does lather with the second wash. I used absolutely no product other than shampoo and just finger fluffed and blow dried my hair, next to no tangles, less hair loss, and less itchy scalp. The Rescue Balm is amazing for me, my skin is clearing to the point that I will be able to wear a bathing suit and go back to swimming pool. I hope your company is wildly successful, I would be so disappointed if I couldn’t buy your products! One tiny suggestion….I bought the Rescue Balm refill, it would be great to have an extra label to put on the container for it.
This was good, but the delivery of the pump is rather frustrating. I have short hair and needed 4-5 pumps to get a later up. Not sure I will purchase again as expensive.
I have suffered with an itchy scalp and dandruff for years and my current shampoo and conditioner wasn't working so thought I'd try something else. I have to say although my hair feels lovely and a lot softer since using both the shampoo and conditioner that my head is still itchy and my dandruff is worse than before so I won't buy this product again.
Hi Lucy, we are happy to hear our shampoo and conditioner improved your hair, though are sorry to hear you're still struggling with itchiness and dandruff still. What it sounds like is that your scalp needs a bit of moisture! For this, we recommend rubbing the Rescue Balm into your scalp and leaving it over night before washing it out in the morning with the Shampoo and Conditioner. I personally find conditioning from root to ends before shampooing is also highly beneficial to my scalp's health.
The dandruff getting worse can also be a sign of healing. So many people with dry skin conditions bounce between products because they assume a natural art of the healing process is actually their condition getting worse. As your skin, scalp in your instance, heals, the body starts to purge the unhealthy skin. This causes it to flake off and does look like your skin is getting drier. If this is happening with your scalp, then trying gently massaging your scalp with your finger tips and the Rescue Balm to help loosen off the dead skin prior to washing. We love to help and are always happy to answer questions through our email, firstname.lastname@example.org.

Being a hairdresser myself but always struggled with psoriasis on my scalp I’ve tried most big brand/professional/prescribed shampoos around with no joy!
I found this shampoo didn’t foam but I know shampoos don’t need too to clean your hair so this didn’t bother me! Smells slightly minty not strong like some big brands. Hair is squeaky clean after! Will help remove any build up on hair from other products.
My hair is naturally curly and highlighted so lacks moisture, I found this shampoo did make my hair tangle but didn’t irritate my scalp so it’s something I need to see over time if it’s worth having dry hair for.
The conditioner is nice and thick but yet again not enough moisture for my hair it was hard to comb through after still.
I also used the oil which helped to comb through and give moisture but did leave it looking a bit greasy so think that’s going to be a learning curve on how much is right for your hair!
Overall my scalp felt nice, not irritated and think over time would help with scaling and flakes, just will need to master the amount of oil added for moisture afterwards
A few tips!
You can get a better foam by adding more water after you massage the shampoo in. I find I get a really great burst that I can then massage through.
As your hair adjusts, you'll find the tangling goes away and you can actually comb you hair out with your fingers in the shower.
I use the oil by smoothing through towel dry hair and leaving on, but I appreciate this can be heavy for a lot of people. I'd suggest either using it as a mask before washing (we're also working on a proper balm mask!) or you can add the oil to your condiitoner as a booster if you'd like more moisture there.
Any advice/wishes you have as a professional, I'm all ears!
