How you use it
Suitable for all skin types, ages and areas. Use little and often on clean skin-we find it goes three times as far as your average store bought cream.
It is very important that you use the Balm regularly in order to achieve desired results. Initially, you may need to apply multiple times a day. As your skin repairs itself, your need to apply will naturally lessen.
As this Balm is nearly entirely comprised of natural, unrefined botanical butters and oils, variations in colour, texture and scent are a normal feature of the unrefined and unbleached oils we use.
Your Balm must be kept cool and away from sunlight and heat sources or it will melt. If allowed to melt, some separation may occur and this can lead to a grainy texture. This in no way harms the product or its efficacy. It can be used as is or you can gently heat it in a water bath until the oils are fully melted, stir and move to a refrigerator to reset.

Our Rescue Balm is comprised almost entirely of botanical oils and butters whereas our Rescue Cream is a traditional water based moisturiser. While they share similar ingredients and the same level of actives, they are two very different products with the Balm offering a significantly higher level of hydration and protection.
For moderate to severe cases, we always recommend starting with the Balm with the option to transition to the Cream to maintain your result. Less severe cases can go straight to the Cream if its their preferred texture.
As always, we suggest those with sensitive skin start with a trial size and perform a patch test before commiting to a full size purchase, even when transitioning from the Balm to the Cream
