Shipping policy

We ship worldwide! Most orders are dispatched in under 24 business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays. However, we are a small team and dispatch can take 2 -5 business days during peak periods. Delivery time frames are courier's own estimates from the time of dispatch and not guaranteed by Thunderbird Skin. IE choosing a 24 hour service does not constitute a guarantee of next day delivery. This will simply be the service used when your order is dispatched.


Delivery Costs

  • UK: £3.99 for Royal Mail tracked delivery in 1 -4 business days. DHL Express shipping is available. Orders over £50 ship free. VAT is included in prices.
  • EU: From £6.50 with your local post carrier in 3-10 business days. DHL Express options available. Duties and Taxes included in price. Some countries will only have DHL offered due to unreliable postal service. Orders over £120 ship free.
  • USA: From £8.40 with USPS/Royal Mail, delivered duties paid in 4-10 business days on average with DHL Express options available. Orders over £120 ship free.
  • Canada: From £6.40 for delivery using Canada Post and delivery time frames of 4 -10 days on average with DHL Express options available. Orders over £120 ship free. Orders under CAD$20 are tax free. For all others, GST of 5% and provincial taxes may be collected.
  • Norway: From £8.50 for delivery using Posten and delivery time frames of 4 -10 days on average. DHL Express options available. Orders over £120 ship free. VAT is included in prices.
  • Switzerland From £9.50 with SwissPost and delivery time frames of 4-10 business days on average. DHL Express options available. Orders over £120 ship free. VAT is included in the price.
  • Australia: From £7.50  for delivery with Australia Post and delivery time frames of 4-10 business days on average. DHL Express options available. Orders over £120 ship free. No GST is generally charged for orders under AUS$1000.
  • New Zealand: From £7.50 for delivery using NZPost and delivery time frames of 4-10 business days on average. DHL Express options available. Orders over £120 ship free. No GST is generally charged for orders under NZ$1000.
  • Everywhere else: From £4.85 + for delivery with your local post operator or DHL Express. Orders over £120 ship free. Taxes and fees may be due on receipt and are solely the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Thunderbird Skin has no control over additional taxes and duties or how they are assessed. Failure to pay in a timely fashion can result in the destruction of your parcel or its return to us. Thunderbird Skin is not responsible for parcels that are destroyed due to non payment of any duties or fees by the purchaser. In the case your parcel is returned to us, a refund will be issued less a 10% restocking fee and the cost of any delivery charges.

Discount Codes & Free Shipping

Please ensure any code and/or free shipping have been applied at checkout. We are unable to retroactively apply or refund discount codes or shipping.

Non-Delivery Of Items

If your order is returned to us owing to one of the following issues:

  • Incorrect or inaccessible address
  • Addressee gone away
  • Parcel not called for

Then you are eligible for a refund of the cost of the item only less our shipping costs or for the item to be shipped again at your expense.

Please note that in the case of an incorrect address, we can only assist if and when the item is returned to us. We are not responsible for items lost due to an incorrect address being entered at checkout.
